Fuel Levy Calculation
Our fuel levy is based on the average Terminal Gate Price (TGP) published by the Australian Institute of Petroleum (AIP) for Adelaide within a date range. When the average fuel price increases above our base benchmark fuel price, the difference is calculated and applied only to the fuel-related portion of our operating costs.
This ensures the fuel levy reflects the actual impact of fuel price movements on our business and allows our base transport rates to remain stable while adjusting fairly for fuel cost changes.
