Customer Freight Requirements
To ensure the safe handling and transport of goods, customers must ensure all items are properly prepared before being accepted into our care. Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays or refusal of freight.
Packaging
All goods must be adequately packaged for transport. This includes:
- Items must be wrapped, packed, and protected with sufficient packing materials to prevent damage during handling and transit.
- Goods must be secured where necessary using straps, shrink wrap, or other appropriate methods.
- Fragile items must be clearly identified and packaged accordingly.
Labelling
Every item must be clearly labelled with:
- Sender and receiver details
- Delivery address
- Any special handling instructions (e.g. Fragile, This Side Up)
Remove previous shipping labels to prevent errors.
Weight & Handling
- Items over 50kg must be placed on a forklift-accessible pallet or skid.
- Pallets or skids must allow safe forklift handling.
Pallets & Skids
All pallets and skids must be:
- In good structural condition
- Suitable for the weight being transported
- Properly secured and stable
Terms & Conditions
Customers must ensure they understand and accept our Terms and Conditions of Carriage (on web site) before goods are accepted.
Acceptance of Goods
All goods are visually inspected upon acceptance. Freight that is poorly packaged, unsafe to handle, or likely to be damaged during normal transport may not be accepted.
Right to Refuse Freight
We reserve the right to refuse to carry goods at any stage if packaging, labelling, handling, or safety requirements are not met, or if there is a risk of damage.
Following these guidelines helps ensure safe handling, efficient transport, and protection of your goods.
Thank you for your cooperation.
